Dear Alumni, Parents and Friends,
Greetings!
The Board of Trustees of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University has approved the transfer of the High School Department to a bigger campus on the newly acquired property in Tumaga, this City. This new campus, with its very ample space, is envisioned to be better equipped with the amenities than the present La Purisima Campus.
The transfer to this bigger campus, by next school year, outside the main hub of the City, is considered a bold and ambitious move given the economic conditions prevalent in our country and more particularly, in our community. More than easing the traffic problem, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University High School will be able to receive more students who will be afforded the Jesuit education of EXCELLENCE, SPIRIT, AND SERVICE. In this new environment, currently surrounded by scenic mountain views, young boys and girls will have a nestling ground for their formation to be the great EAGLES of the future. Eagles who are imbued with the high moral and ethical values which are rare nowadays.
The success of this Herculean undertaking, however, will depend substantially on the generosity and kindness of Ateneans and friends of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
Let us contribute and harness our resources to complete this project and ensure the winning traditions of the ATENEO, in education, vocation, profession, public service, and other endeavors.
