Greetings!
The history of Ateneo de Zamboanga University is closely intertwined with the history of Zamboanga City. Through the almost hundred years of its existence, the school has led the city in quality and innovative education, an education that has as its center the formation of the young into adults who live by the motto Pro Deo et Patria, In the Service of God and Country.
Ateneo has maintained this position at the forefront through a tradition of extraordinarily generous support from alumni, parents, and friends. I hope that this tradition of giving continues as we undertake our most daunting project to date, a full-facility campus six kilometers away from the La Purisima base of Ateneo. With a total objective of over 100 million pesos, Tumaga Campus Development is the most ambitious fundraising effort ever launched by a secondary school in the city. We envision state-of-the-art facilities, expansive spaces, and adequate sports facilities that will further establish Ateneo de Zamboanga University High School as an excellent place for students, faculty and staff to live and work in.
